Rehabilitation Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is concerned with treating pathologies or dysfunctions in our body as it can also be applied to prevent various diseases and adverse situations that may arise.

Our mission as a Physical Therapist is to evaluate, reevaluate, prescribe the most appropriate treatment for each patient, give the kinetic-functional diagnosis, with the aim of treating, healing, rehabilitating and recovering the individual’s functional capacity. Our role as a physical therapist is to properly address the causes, not just the symptoms, in a personalized manner, so that each patient can achieve the desired results completely and effectively.

WHAT TREATMENTS:

According to the clinical diagnosis, the physiotherapist determines a treatment plan that is most appropriate to address changes in mobility resulting from local or global imbalances, muscle strength, and joint stability.

For this type of intervention, the physical therapist may resort to several different techniques and resources:

• Kinesiotherapy;
• Manual soft tissue mobilization techniques;
• Myofascial stretching and relaxation;
• Therapeutic massage;
• Neural mobilization;
• Gait reeducation;
• Joint mobilization;
• Manual lymphatic drainage;
• Postural correction techniques;
• Techniques aimed at normal movement training and exercises to improve muscle strength and joint stability;
• Electrotherapy: You have ultrasound, infrared, cryotherapy, humid heat, etc…

DURATION TIME: The sessions last around 60min or more … depending on each case and situations to be dealt with.
