Applied to women’s health

Physiotherapy applied to women’s health may be targeted in various specific areas or situations related to clinical issues, hormonal and physiological changes in each phase of women, as well as changes in the musculoskeletal system, situations related to pelvic floor disorders and urinary incontinence.

Physiotherapy will intervene through consultations for counseling, care and treatments to be performed during pregnancy, before delivery and postpartum. Postoperative preparation and treatment of either pathological or esthetic origin. Our role as a physical therapist is to guide an appropriate physical therapy program for women according to their needs and goals.
